　　口语部分

　　Task 1

　　If your parents owned a large amount of money out of lottery/anything, how do you suggest them spend the money?

　　Task 2

　　Some universities suggest students to choose their major once they are admitted to university, while others think that it’ll be better for them to wait until their second or third year of college education, which do you think is better and why?

　　Task 3

　　Reading (Announcement):

　　The school wants to shut down the radio station due to less audience and volunteers.

　　Reason1： 没有人去听

　　Reason2: 缺乏志愿者帮助

　　Listening：Woman Against

　　1. 大部分学生都习惯使用手机收听网上的节目，如果学校提供网上收听就有人听了。

　　2. 女生的朋友Tony在那里干过活，很累，如果学校增加奖励例如学分，才会有人会去做志愿活动。

　　Task 4

　　Reading:

　　eminent domain：政府有时候为了完成project要占用private的东西，这个power就是eminent domain

　　Listening:

　　举例，加州要修铁路因为交通拥挤只有一个高速公路有了火车大家可以 travel faster ，但是要劈开private land 。教授他叔叔等人，就很不开心，但是因为政府的合法权利去用地，所以叔叔拿钱走人，等到修完大家发现是worth it因为生活方便了。

　　Task 5

　　Problem: 女生兼职但是上班前要上课而且路上有construction耽误。

　　Solution 1: 跟教授说一下早点开溜。教授会理解但是他下课前会说重点女生不想错过。

　　Solution 2: 跟别人换班但是她都订好了 要去hiking了天气真的很好的。

　　Task 6

　　两种原因引起poor water clarity。

　　第一个是soil到水里了，比如当人们修 highway 土壤松动一下雨土都进水里;

　　第二个是nutrient farmer用fertilizer 有一些进水里微生物生长out of control 挡住sunlight，其他的生物接触不到 sunlight。

　　讨论Hammer head Shark 头的功能

　　阅读：

　　1. 提高了转弯的速度

　　2. 提高了对电磁场的感知能力

　　3. 作为捕食的工具

　　Listening：Against

　　1. 转弯主要靠的是spine，而且年轻的锤头鲨反而转弯更快

　　2. 在试验中，把锤头鲨和其他类型的鲨鱼放在一个wire connected pool里，所有的shark对于猎物的感知一样，锤头鲨并没有体现出更高的灵敏度。

　　3. 由于眼睛长在头上，如果拿头去捕食会损害眼睛

　　独立写作

　　Some people think that older children should be required to take care of the younger children. Others think that this should be done by parents or other adults. Which do you prefer?
